Raw Materials Warehouse FLT Operator

Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Raw Materials Warehouse FLT Operator join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!

Rate of Pay: £13.08ph

Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday: 07:00-15:00pm

Contract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks

Main Responsibilities:

· Operate FLT / 8-tonne Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation

· Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation

· Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies

· Independent working with some teamworking

· Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork

· Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork

· Run quality check of all incoming goods

· Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay

· Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed

· Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults

· Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions

· Carry out periodic stocktaking activities

· Guarantee the warehouse space optimization

· Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if required

Skills required:

· RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable but in-house is accepted

· Experience in warehouse environment operating a Forklift Truck

· Experience using clamp and bale attachments (desirable)

· Strong awareness of health, safety, and safe working practices.

· Good communication skills

· Works well in a team and individually
