Salary: £26,500 - £30,000 basic salary + uncapped bonus/commission

Are you a recruiter who loves building relationships, speaking with people, and delivering exceptional service?

We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant or Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our successful Reading branch, managing a busy Industrial and Facilities desk across Reading, High Wycombe and surrounding towns in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to take over a warm desk with established clients and candidates. The role is heavily relationship-focused, with much of your day spent speaking with clients about their current and future recruitment needs, understanding candidates' career aspirations, and making successful matches that deliver value for both.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and developing an established Industrial and Facilities recruitment desk
• Building strong relationships with clients and candidates through regular telephone, video and face-to-face conversations
• Consulting with clients to understand their short-term and long-term recruitment requirements and workforce plans
• Speaking with candidates to fully understand their skills, experience, career goals and motivations
• Matching suitable candidates to temporary and permanent vacancies across a variety of sectors
• Proactively marketing candidates to new and existing clients to create opportunities and generate placements
• Developing long-term partnerships and becoming a trusted recruitment advisor to clients and candidates
• Growing existing accounts whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities
• Managing the recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to placement and aftercare
• Delivering exceptional levels of customer service and candidate experience
• Achieving revenue, margin and activity targets

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial due to regular client visits.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people and building long-term relationships. This is a consultative role where success comes from understanding businesses, getting to know candidates, and creating the right match.

• Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial
• Strong consultative and relationship-building skills
