Class 2 Refuse driver - Glasgow

Blue Arrow are recruiting for a local authority for bin lorry drivers in multiple locations.

Locations: Shieldhall, Polmadie, Dalshom or Queenslie

Pay Rate: 💷 £16.15 per hour

Start Date: 26 & 27th November

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good customer service skills
• Reliable and professional approach
• 6 Months experience

Key Details:

• Employment Type: Ongoing temporary contract with high potential for permanent placement

Shift Pattern:

• 4 days on / 4 days off rotation
• Start times: 06:30 to 18:30

Assessment and induction required

Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 refuse collection vehicles in accordance with safety and operational standards
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Work collaboratively with loaders and depot staff to ensure timely and efficient waste collection
• Adhere to all relevant health & safety and local authority regulations
• Maintain accurate records of routes, collections, and vehicle usage
