Recycling Operative with FLT Licence

Blue Arrow Bristol are recruiting Recycling Operatives / Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to work for our client based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35). Candidates will need to hold a Counterbalance Forklift licence obtained or refreshed within the last 3 years. Due to remove location, candidates will ideally need to drive, however, there are also buses that can take you to the site.

The roles are working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 one week and 14:00-22:00 the following week.

The roles will involve assisting to recycle mainly plastics and cardboard, helping to pack items, move materials around manually and using a counterbalance forklift trucks as well help maintain all the areas clean and tidy.

Working hours and pay rates:

• Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 one week and 14:00-22:00 the following week (rotating)
• Occasional overtime
• Basic pay rate is £13.50 per hour, overtime is paid at £20.25

As a Recycling Operatives / Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Manual loading and unloading of products
• Recycling
• Using machinery
• Tidying up
• Operating counterbalance forklifts
• Updating paperwork

Candidate requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence obtained or refreshed within the last 3 years
• Previous experience operating forklifts is preferred
• Previous experience performing warehouse duties
• Good understanding of warehousing operations and processes
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations
• Willingness to do manual work
