π Desk-Based Account Manager

We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Desk-Based Account Manager to join our fast-paced Packaging & Components team in Gravesend.
This is more than just a sales role-you'll be at the heart of our customer relationships, helping businesses find the right solutions while driving growth and spotting new opportunities. If you enjoy connecting with people, closing deals, and making a real impact, this role is for you.
πΌ What You'll Be Doing
π Drive Sales & Grow Accounts
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers, building strong relationships and ensuring repeat business
- Handle incoming enquiries, follow up on leads, and convert opportunities into sales
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across our packaging solutions
- Work closely with External Sales Teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Keep CRM systems up to date with quotes, orders, and customer interactions
π‘ Support Marketing & Innovation
- Make outbound calls to promote products, campaigns, and new initiatives
- Provide valuable frontline insights into customer needs and product performance
- Play a role in the development and launch of new products
- Collaborate with marketing to bring campaigns to life
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and innovations
π€ Collaborate & Contribute
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver excellent service
- Support monthly sales reviews and track performance against targets
- Share customer feedback to help shape business decisions
π― What We're Looking For
- Experience in sales or account management (B2B, trade, or packaging preferred)
- A confident communicator who builds strong relationships with ease
- Commercial awareness and curiosity about market trends
- Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs
- Organised, proactive, and confident using CRM systems and Microsoft tools

- Experience within construction / packaging industry
- Worked with end users or distributors
- A creative mindset with fresh ideas and solutions
