School Administrator

School Administrator to work for an academy trust in Birmingham. This role will be covering maternity leave for 8-9 months. This role will mainly be supporting the facilities department and completing administrative duties.

Main duties in a school administrator role:

  • Answering phone calls - good phone mannerisms required
  • Monitoring emails
  • Overlooking school visitors signing in/out
  • Taking calls regarding absences and informing relevant staff
  • Passing information between relevant teachers/parents/pupils
  • Sorting and distributing post
  • Supporting the facilities department with their paperwork, filling, completing timesheets, reporting staff absences to site manager, arranging additional support to cover staff absences


Requirements:

  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
  • Previous administrator experience in a school - ideally 2 years
  • Holds an ENHANCED Child DBS in date within the last 12 months, or an ENHANCED DBS on the update service.
  • Must have safeguarding training - BlueArrow can provide this if required


Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
Pay: £13 per hour
Start date: 26th August
