School Administrator to work for an academy trust in Birmingham. This role will be covering maternity leave for 8-9 months. This role will mainly be supporting the facilities department and completing administrative duties.
Main duties in a school administrator role:
- Answering phone calls - good phone mannerisms required
- Monitoring emails
- Overlooking school visitors signing in/out
- Taking calls regarding absences and informing relevant staff
- Passing information between relevant teachers/parents/pupils
- Sorting and distributing post
- Supporting the facilities department with their paperwork, filling, completing timesheets, reporting staff absences to site manager, arranging additional support to cover staff absences
Requirements:
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
- Previous administrator experience in a school - ideally 2 years
- Holds an ENHANCED Child DBS in date within the last 12 months, or an ENHANCED DBS on the update service.
- Must have safeguarding training - BlueArrow can provide this if required
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
Pay: £13 per hour
Start date: 26th August
