Part-Time School Cleaner

Location: Ascot, Berkshire

Part-Time, Permanent | Enhanced DBS Required (or willingness to obtain one)

Two Roles Available:

• 5:00am - 12:00pm
• 9:00am - 12:00pm

Are you reliable, hardworking and take pride in creating a clean, safe environment? We're recruiting two dedicated School Cleaners to join a reputable and welcoming school in Ascot. These are permanent part‑time roles that make a real difference to the daily life of pupils and staff.

As part of the school's housekeeping team, you'll play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and contributing to a positive learning environment.

What You'll Be Doing

* Following cleaning schedules and instructions set by the Housekeeping Supervisor

* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety at all times

* Using the correct cleaning products and materials for each task

* Maintaining and caring for cleaning equipment to ensure safe, effective use

* Keeping all cleaning cupboards tidy, organised and secure

* Safely storing materials in designated locked areas

* Providing cover for colleagues during absences (may include other departments)

* Attending any necessary training or team meetings

* Reporting any faults or damage to your line manager

* Carrying out any reasonable tasks requested by the General Services Manager or Head Teacher

* Wearing the correct uniform and presenting yourself professionally

* Alerting a teacher immediately if any incidents with pupils occur

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliability and excellent timekeeping
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful
