Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Lunchtime Supervisors to work at a primary school in Birmingham, on an ongoing temporary basis.
Hours: Monday to Friday 11.20am-1.35pm
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils: Oversee children in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring they are safe and behave appropriately.
- Assist students: Help younger children with tasks like cutting up food or opening packaging.
- Handle first aid: Deal with minor injuries like bumps, cuts, and grazes, and get appropriate help for more serious issues.
- Set up and clean: Prepare the dining area by setting out tables and chairs and help with clearing away and cleaning up spillages afterwards.
- Ensure safety: Monitor the playground for safety, prevent children from leaving school grounds, and report any concerns about child protection.
About you:
- Previous experience as a school lunchtime supervisor
- Holds an ENHANCED Child DBS in date within the last 12 months, or an ENHANCED DBS on the update service.
- Must have safeguarding training - BlueArrow can provide this if required
