We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Spalding.
This is a hands-on role involving the processing, treatment and packing of seed using specialist equipment. Working as part of a small team, you will help ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate seed processing, treatment and packing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow production schedules and work instructions accurately.
- Complete inventory and production tasks using company systems.
- Apply products and treatments in accordance with established procedures.
- Follow important health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
- Support team members and assist with other duties as required to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a production, manufacturing or agricultural environment.
- Valid Forklift Licence essential.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.
- Agricultural experience would be advantageous.
