Support Administrator
We are currently recruiting a Support Administrator to join a busy NHS hospital team based in Great Yarmouth. This is a fixed‑term role for 9 months, offering £14.00 per hour PAYE.
This role provides essential administrative support to clinical and non‑clinical teams, helping ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of hospital services.

- Pay rate: £14.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Start Date: 9th February 2026
- Working pattern: Full‑time hours, 08.00-18.00, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to hospital departments
- Manage correspondence, records, and electronic data accurately
- Book appointments, meetings, and update internal systems
- Support clinical teams with administrative tasks as required
- Respond to internal and external queries in a professional manner
- Ensure all work is completed in line with NHS policies, procedures, and GDPR requirements
- Assist with reception or front‑of‑house cover when required
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based role
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and accurate data entry
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional communication skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working within an NHS or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with NHS administrative or patient systems (training will be provided if required)
