Transport Coordinator - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire, LS25 6EZ

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (05:30-14:00 / 13:30-22:00)

Pay
During Probation: £14.18 per hour (weekly pay) Salary After Perm Transition: Up to £29,500 per annum

Blue Arrow is proud to be partnering with XPO Logistics to recruit a Transport Coordinator on a 13-week temp-to-perm basis. This is your chance to join a growing site supporting transport operations for British Gypsum, with real potential to transition into a permanent role.

What You'll Be Doing

Coordinating transport operations both on-site and at customer premises
Ensuring vehicle defects are reported and resolved promptly
Monitoring driver compliance with working time directive regulations
Investigating incidents and accidents in a timely manner
Building strong relationships with drivers and transport teams
Conducting driver briefings and debriefings
Managing data entry for KPIs, customer reports, and statistics

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a transport coordination role
Strong administrative and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
A proactive approach to problem-solving
A positive attitude and team spirit
