Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Join Serco in supporting one of the UK's most vital public services. On behalf of the Home Office, Serco delivers the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) in the North West. We ensure vulnerable asylum seekers receive safe, secure accommodation and the essential items they need to begin rebuilding their lives.
We're looking for a motivated and physically capable individual to join our Inventory team. You'll play a hands-on role delivering, assembling, and installing furniture and white goods in Dispersal Accommodation properties across the region. Your work directly impacts people's lives—making sure every home is ready, safe, and fully equipped.
Delivering and installing white goods, furniture, and household items to properties
Assembling furniture and fitting appliances in line with safety standards
Removing and decommissioning broken or outdated appliances and waste
Collaborating with a supportive and dedicated team
Travelling throughout the North West, with a focus on Preston, Merseyside, and Wigan
Full UK driving licence (Category B)
Good geographical knowledge of the North West
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Forms)
A flexible attitude and willingness to travel long distances
Experience with installing white goods is an advantage but not essential—full training provided
