Van Delivery Driver

Support Delivery Driver - 3.5 ton - Temp to Perm - Eccles, Manchester.

This is a 13 week temp to perm opportunity to join this well established independent furniture retail business based in Eccles, Manchester as a full time Delivery Mate / Backup Delivery Driver.

This is a hands-on role, and we are specifically looking for someone who already has experience handling and delivering furniture, mainly sofas and beds to customers homes.

Role overview:

• Furniture deliveries (sofas, beds, large items) to customer's homes including assemblies and removals (all training provided)
• Working as part of a delivery crew
• Warehouse support: loading/unloading, stock movement
• Occasional in-store support moving furniture
• Customer-facing, so professionalism is essential

Key requirements:

• Proven experience handling furniture deliveries
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Full UK driving licence essential. Over 25 for insurance purposes and max 6 points. No DR10 or IN10 endorsements.
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (no weekends)

Pay:

£14 - £16 per hour depending on experience.
