Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team in Durham as a Multi-Skilled Operative. This varied role involves supporting kitchen operations, assisting with deliveries, and driving company vehicles. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Working Pattern: Any 5 out of 7 days (including weekends and bank holidays as required)

• Van Driving & Deliveries:

  • Safely operate company vans to deliver goods to various locations.
  • Load and unload deliveries, ensuring items are handled with care.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the team.

• Kitchen Porter Duties:

  • Support kitchen staff with cleaning, dishwashing, and basic food prep.
  • Ensure kitchen areas are kept clean, hygienic, and well-organised.
  • Assist with stock rotation and storage of supplies.

• General Support:

  • Help with receiving and checking deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across work areas.
  • Carry out other duties as required to support the smooth running of operations.

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
• Ability to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry items safely.
