Location: Rochester, Kent

Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour, Overtime after 48 hours paying £19.70 per hour

Contract Type: Ongoing Agency Assignment

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, starting from 4:00am

Blue Arrow are proud to be recruiting 3.5T Van Drivers on behalf of our client, XPO, based in Rochester, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and customer-focused drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established logistics operation.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering doors to a variety of customer locations, including residential properties, retail outlets and commercial premises. The role involves manual handling and heavy lifting, therefore candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands of the position.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering doors safely and efficiently to customer sites
• Completing approximately 3-4 deliveries per day
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining company standards
• Working independently following the initial training period

Training & Support

Successful candidates will receive:

• A full site induction
• Buddy shifts with experienced drivers during the onboarding period
• Ongoing support from the operational team

Please note that there is no driver's mate provided, and drivers will be expected to carry out deliveries independently once fully trained.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Previous van driving experience is advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
