Van Driver - Parcel Delivery & Collection Required in Feltham TW13 area
Location: Feltham, TW13
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:30am - 5:30pm/6:00pm
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing Assignment
Pay Rate: £14.27-£14.56 per hour (PAYE)
About the Role
As a Van Driver, you will start each day at the depot, loading your vehicle before completing a scheduled delivery and collection route. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent time management, a professional attitude, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and organising parcels onto your vehicle efficiently and safely at the start of each shift
- Delivering and collecting parcels from residential and commercial customers across your designated route
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Using handheld scanners and completing relevant delivery documentation where required
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers at all times
- Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Adhering to all road traffic regulations, health & safety procedures, and company policies
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a multi-drop delivery, courier, or van driving role
- Strong geographical knowledge and ability to navigate routes efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
