Van driver/post man

Our client is an industry leader, and you will be driving a custom vehicle to deliver parcels.
Start date: immediately
Working hours: between 6-8 hours per day, will mainly be 0900-1500 but will need to be flexible to start earlier/finish later.
Pay rates: Mon - Sat £13.37 per hour; Sunday - £14.49 per hour
Vetting will need to be completed for this client which includes passing a basic DBS check, 2-year full employment history covering any gaps and 5-year address history.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Collect goods from a delivery office
* Load the vehicle
* Before setting off, ensure you choose the best route checking if the route is being affected by traffic or road works
* Ensure delivery of goods and at destination point you will unload the van and deliver directly to the customer or client, then you will request and receive signatures from the customer or client
* Record your hours, mileage and ensure relevant delivery and collection records are up to date

Qualifications required
* A full UK-issued driving licence
* Previous multi-drop experience essential
* Category B on your Driving licence is required for you to drive Category B vehicle (light van) providing the van weighs 3,500kg/3.5 tonne or less
*Less than 6 penalty points on your licence (ideally a clean licence is preferred)
*Willing to complete a criminality check(essential)
