Warehouse Operative

Location: Alfreton, Derby, Derbyshire

Pay: £13.09 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Full-Time, Ongoing Work

Start Date: October 2026

Warehouse Operatives Required

We're recruiting Warehouse Operatives, Picker Packers and Order Pickers to join a well-established distribution centre in Alfreton.

This is a varied warehouse role involving picking orders, packing products, stock replenishment and dispatch duties. The team offers a relaxed and supportive working environment and is looking for positive, reliable people who enjoy working as part of a team.

Key Duties

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Labelling parcels ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading stock
• Stock replenishment and stock checks
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems
• Booking in deliveries and preparing orders
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Supporting different departments when required

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, picking, packing or distribution experience is beneficial
• Good attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Comfortable with manual handling duties
• Able to work well within a team
• Able to travel to Alfreton for an 8am start
