Welder

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Welder based in Chester-le-Street, the role is offered on a temp to perm basis, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder to contribute to a well-established business within the engineering/manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding (as applicable) to a high standard
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Carry out fabrication and assembly of metal components
• Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet required standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Rate

• £13ph during the initial 12-week trial period
• £13.50ph following successful completion of training (this may be accelerated depending on performance)

Working Hours:

• Mon-Fri
• 6am-4pm core hours
• 4pm-6pm daily overtime paid at time and a third
