Work Planner/Coordinator

Location: Livingston
Rota: Mon-Fri 0800-1500
Rate: £13.50/hour

Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support and coordinate the planning and scheduling of works, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of services. This role involves liaising with internal teams, contractors, and clients to maintain accurate records, manage workflows, and support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule works in line with operational requirements and client expectations.
Maintain and update job tracking systems and databases.
Coordinate with field teams and contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Prepare and distribute work orders, reports, and documentation.
Monitor progress and escalate delays or issues as needed.
Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and handling correspondence.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
Support compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
Skills & Experience:

Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
Experience in a planning, coordination, or administrative role (preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
