Yard Operative (Temporary)

Location: Woodford Green

Duration: Temporary Assignment (19/10 - 30/11)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Breaks: 10-minute morning break and 1-hour lunch break

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team on a temporary basis from 19th October to 30th November. Working alongside the Yard Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the yard by preparing routes for drivers, loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and servicing sanitary units.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Yard Supervisor with daily yard operations.
Prepare routes and equipment for returning drivers.
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard and external car park areas.
Empty, clean, and wash sanitary units to a high standard.
Ensure all work areas remain safe, tidy, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
Support with other general yard duties as required.
