Hi All,
We hope that you have had a great week.
This week has seen some great news in the headlines for a change.
The first female RAF Regiment officers have graduated from RAF Honington after the corps opened up roles to women in September 2017.
A great achievement by Major Chris Brangan who has completed his 700 mile walk barefoot and has raised over £400,000. He took on this challenge because his daughter suffers from a rare genetic disease and has walked barefoot from Land's End to Edinburgh to fund research into the condition. You can read more about this story by visiting Hope for Hasti’s social media pages.
This week we also saw junior soldiers graduate from Harrogate's Army Foundation College, after having spent a quarter of their year-long course training online during lockdown. Now there may be mixed opinions about this, but it just goes to show that the military can improvise, adapt and overcome the toughest of situations.
