This week in the news Boris Johnson stands by commitment to protect defence from spending cuts. The Prime Minister has indicated that defence spending will be protected from cuts as the Government tries to balance its books during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can read more about this HERE
This week was also saw the 80th anniversary for the Battle of Britain. If, 80 years ago, events had transpired differently, September 15 1940 could have meant something entirely different in the nation’s history.
