Ad Hoc Catering Assistant - School Settings
Location: Various schools across Braintree
Contract Type: Ad hoc / Casual
Hours: Flexible, term-time only

Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and making a difference in children's daily lives? We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our ad hoc team supporting school kitchens across the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Support the catering team with stock rotation and general kitchen duties
Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in catering or hospitality (preferred but not essential)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work flexibly across different school sites
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
