Catering Assistant - £13.68 - Taunton

About the Role

Our Education Client in Taunton is a small specialist school that supports boys aged 5-16, helping them build confidence, resilience, and life skills in a nurturing environment. You will need to be a car driver for this role as they are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join their team and play an important part in keeping the pupils well-fed and ready to learn.

Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Hours: 11am to 14:15pm

Hourly Rate: £13.68 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

• Helping with food preparation in the school kitchen
• Serving meals to pupils in a friendly and supportive way
• Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
• Delivering food to a nearby primary school with your own car (around 30 minutes each day - mileage can be claimed back)

What We're Looking For

• A full driving license
• Your own car (essential for the delivery duties)
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety
