Salary: £12.21 hourly

Hours: 20-30 hours a week

We are looking for a friendly and hardworking Catering Assistant to support our Cook Manager in delivering nutritious, high‑quality meals for our residents. You will play a key role in ensuring our dining experience is consistent, welcoming and enjoyable.

About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will:

• Help prepare meals, including supporting special dietary requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and appliances.
• Build positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
• Seek feedback to continuously improve the service.
• Receive, check and safely store deliveries.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Knowledgeable about food hygiene and basic food preparation.
• A strong team player with great communication skills.
• Energetic, reliable and willing to learn.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• Passionate about providing excellent service.
• Positive, friendly and able to bring a sense of humour to work.
