📍 Location: Mansfield

🕒 Monday to Friday (term time only)

⏰ Hours: 10am to 2pm OR 10.30am to 2.30pm OR 11am to 3pm (dependent on school)

💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour

We are hiring Catering Assistants to support schools across the Mansfield area. Whether you are returning to work, need something that fits around family life, or just prefer shorter daytime shifts, this could be the perfect opportunity.

No catering experience? No problem. If you are enthusiastic, hard working and willing to learn, we would love to hear from you.

You will need an Enhanced Child DBS to work in schools. If you do not have one already, we can support you with the application.

🧾 What you will be doing:

• Helping prepare and serve food and drinks
• Operating tills during lunch service
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Unpacking and storing deliveries
• Washing dishes and keeping kitchen areas tidy
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
• Providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff

✅ What we are looking for:

• Food Hygiene Level 1 (dated within the last 12 months)
• Happy to support with cleaning and general kitchen tasks
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Clear communicator who can report issues appropriately
• Reliable, hard working and motivated
• Experience in a similar setting is helpful but not essential
