Catering Assistants Wanted - Crewe Area

£12.71 per hour and above

Blue Arrow is looking to add experienced Catering Assistants to our team to support a range of clients across Crewe and the surrounding areas.

We're recruiting for a variety of assignments, from ad hoc shifts to ongoing placements, making this a great opportunity for anyone looking for flexible work or regular hours within the catering and hospitality sector.

What You'll Be Doing

Duties will vary depending on the site, but may include:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
• Serving meals and refreshments to customers
• Supporting chefs and catering teams during service
• Clearing tables and maintaining dining areas
• Washing up kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils
• Replenishing stock and supplies when needed
• Ensuring kitchen and food service areas remain clean and tidy
• Following food hygiene and health & safety regulations at all times

What We're Looking For

To be considered for these roles, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience working within a catering, hospitality or food service environment
• A good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• A reliable and dependable approach to work
• The ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
• A Food Hygiene Certificate, although this is not essential
• Access to your own transport is beneficial as some locations may be difficult to reach by public transport

DBS Information

Some positions are based within schools, care settings and other environments where an Enhanced DBS check is required.

If you already hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate, that's a bonus. If not, Blue Arrow can help arrange one for you, subject to the relevant application fee.
