Catering Assistant - Care Home (Ad Hoc Shifts)

💷 £13.50 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and flexible Catering Assistant to support our friendly care home team in Okehampton on an ad hoc basis.

Shift Times:

08:30 - 19:30

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with meal preparation and food service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Supporting residents with meal service in a respectful and caring manner
• Ensuring kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and organised

What we're looking for:

• Previous catering or kitchen experience (preferred but not essential)
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
