We're looking for a part-time Catering Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking catering team in Newton Abbot. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
🧑🍳 Shift Pattern:
- Sunday: 08:30 - 18:00
- Monday: 12:00 - 18:00
- Tuesday: 12:00 - 18:00
- Wednesday: 08:30 - 18:00
- Weekend work is required as part of the regular rota.
- Flexibility to cover other days due to staff sickness or holiday cover is essential.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and service
- Set up and clear down dining and service areas
- Support hospitality and snack service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
✅ What We're Looking For:
- Previous catering or food service experience (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and provide cover when needed
