We are currently recruiting Catering Assistants to work in schools across Essex on behalf of a busy and growing agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking flexible working hours that fit around family commitments and other responsibilities.

Working within school kitchens, you'll play an important role in supporting the preparation and service of meals for students and staff while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.

Duties Include:

• Assisting with food preparation and serving meals.
• Setting up dining areas and food counters.
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene.
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures.
• Supporting kitchen staff with day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Previous catering, kitchen, or hospitality experience is desirable.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Knowledge of food hygiene practices is advantageous.
