Catering Assistant - Melton Mowbray

Are you a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant looking for flexible work opportunities? Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Catering Assistants for a variety of food service environments across Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team with immediate starts available and a range of shift patterns to suit different lifestyles, including day, evening and night shifts.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support kitchen and catering teams with the smooth running of food service operations.

Duties may include:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Serving customers in dining areas
• Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Clearing tables and replenishing stock
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Supporting chefs and kitchen staff as required

Requirements

• Previous catering, hospitality or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality are essential
• Safety shoes are required
• Own transport may be advantageous for some locations and shift times
