Blue Arrow is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to work across a range of sites in and around Tunbridge Wells, including schools, care homes, hospitality venues, and commercial kitchens.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting kitchen teams and delivering excellent food service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
• Serving food and beverages to customers
• Clearing and cleaning dining areas and service points
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Supporting stock deliveries and stock rotation
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following food hygiene, health & safety, and site procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous catering, kitchen, or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a busy environment
• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
• Understanding of food hygiene standards (training can be provided)
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
