Blue Arrow is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor for a busy hospital in the Lanarkshire area. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a background in catering or hospitality.
Key Duties:
- Supervising and motivating the catering team
- Overseeing daily food service operations
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Managing rotas and staff allocation
- Supporting stock control and ordering supplies
- Liaising with hospital departments to meet dietary requirements
- Training and mentoring catering assistants
- Maintaining cleanliness and service quality throughout
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a catering supervisory role (ideally in healthcare or similar environment)
- Valid PVG and Food Hygiene Certificate LVL 2 (we can assist with obtaining these)
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Flexible to work across a rotating shift pattern, including weekends
