A leading private school in Oxfordshire is seeking a passionate Catering Supervisor to join their dedicated in‑house catering team.

The Role

As Catering Supervisor, you will support the Catering Manager in delivering a high‑quality food service to students, staff, and visitors. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the kitchen and dining areas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising daily catering operations and front‑of‑house service
• Leading and motivating a small catering team
• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation
• Supporting menu delivery and assisting with food preparation when required
• Managing stock, ordering supplies, and monitoring wastage
• Ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
• Providing excellent customer service in a friendly, welcoming environment

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within catering or hospitality
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A hands‑on, positive, team‑focused approach
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene (Level 2 or 3 preferred)
• The ability to work effectively during busy service periods
