Floor Housekeeper (Housekeeping Supervisor)

Are you someone who takes pride in high standards and loves leading by example? We're looking for a Floor Housekeeper to help ensure our hotel delivers an outstanding experience for every guest, every time.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation, and team support come together. You'll play a key part in keeping our rooms and public areas looking their best, while guiding and supporting the housekeeping team to succeed.
What you'll be doing
- Ensuring all guest rooms meet our high standards before they're ready to welcome guests
- Preparing daily work schedules to help the team run smoothly and efficiently
- Checking public areas to maintain a consistently clean and welcoming environment
- Supporting stock management, ensuring housekeeping supplies are well organised and available
- Training and guiding team members on best practices and use of equipment
- Supporting ordering and stock control within housekeeping stores
- Keeping housekeeping records and documentation accurate and up to date
- Assisting in the linen room when needed
- Managing key distribution securely and responsibly
- Handling lost property queries with care and professionalism
- Stepping up to lead the team in the absence of the Head or Deputy Head Housekeeper
- Working closely with Reception to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly to keep our facilities at their best
- Creating a personal touch by recognising and engaging with guests whenever possible
- Supporting guest queries and ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for
- Attending training sessions and team meetings to stay sharp and informed
