Class 2 Driver

Blue Arrow are recruiting Class 2 drivers to work for a general haulage company based in Gloucester. The roles are ongoing full-time working Monday to Friday - no weekend work will be involved

The start times for the roles will be 7am and you will be completing around 50 hours per week on average. The pay rate is £16.50 per hour.

The roles will involve delivering a wide range of products to businesses and completing up to 15 drops / collections per shift.

As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, Your Duties Will Include:

• Driving curtain sider lorries and completing up to 15 deliveries / collections daily
• Strapping the load
• Offloading goods as and when required
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Using PODs
• Providing excellent customer service

Candidate Requirements:

• Ideally at least 1 year experience in a Class 2 or 7.5T driving role
• Category C driving licence, up to date CPC and Digi Tacho cards
• ADR licence would be advantageous
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence and only for minor offences
• Physical fitness
• Reliability and trustworthiness
• Good customer service skills
• Good level of spoken English
