Location: Newcastle and Gateshead

Hours: Various shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract Type: Ad Hoc / Temporary

Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? We are recruiting reliable and hardworking Cleaners to support a range of schools across Carlisle and Penrith from September.

About the Role

Working across various settings, you'll play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for staff, visitors, and customers.

Typical duties include:

• Cleaning offices, communal areas, washrooms, and other facilities
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
• Sanitising high-touch surfaces and maintaining hygiene standards
• Following cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive, reliable, and professional attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent timekeeping and punctuality
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
