About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join the team at Westmorland Shopping Centre in Kendal. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Emptying waste bins throughout the shopping centre.
- Cleaning and sanitising customer and staff toilet facilities.
- Sweeping and mopping mall walkways and communal areas.
- Hoovering carpeted areas during the afternoon.
- Ensuring all areas are kept clean and presentable to a high standard.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables where required.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or health and safety concerns.
- Following all health and safety procedures and cleaning schedules.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
