Cleaning Operative

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a full time Cleaner for our client based in Leeds (LS26 area), this is a temporary ongoing role for the right candidate. Due to location and start times, it would be preferred if candidates had a driving licences with access to their own car.

Candidates should be comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically intensive environment. You will contribute to maintaining high standards across the site while working with colleagues who take pride in creating a supportive and engaging working environment.

All job offers will be subject to passing a DBS check

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning and waste management tasks efficiently within a warehouse environment
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across welfare areas (e.g. washrooms, break rooms, canteen), social spaces (e.g. offices, reception, locker rooms), and production areas
• Handle and segregate waste correctly, ensuring it is prepared for collection
• Operate cleaning equipment such as sweepers and scrubber-dryers, keeping all equipment clean, safe, and well maintained
• Respond promptly to spillages and service requests on site

Pay Rate:

• Days - £12.94
• Nights - £13.44

Working Hours:

• Shift Pattern: 4 shifts on / 4 shifts off - shifts do not rotate
• 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am
• 12-hour shifts - Full Time Only
