We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join the team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in the stunning New Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients and eager to develop their skills in a luxury environment.
Key Information
- Salary: £28,000 per annum
- Hours: 5 days out of 7 (including weekends on rotation)
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
- Location: New Forest
- Accommodation: Live-in available
- Cuisine: Fresh, seasonal dishes
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Work effectively as part of a professional kitchen team
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen assistant in a fresh food environment
- Passion for cooking and learning new skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Knowledge of basic food safety standards
