Blue Arrow is delighted to be supporting our client with their upcoming winter recruitment campaign and is currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisors (Inbound Calls) to join a busy and professional contact centre team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation, with full paid training provided and the potential for the role to become permanent for successful candidates.

Location: Belper, Derbyshire

Training Location: Denby, Derbyshire (first 4 weeks)

Contract: Temporary ongoing assignment

Pay Rate: £13.61 per hour

Overtime & Weekend Rate: £20.42 per hour

Hours: 39.5 hours per week

The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, resolving queries, updating customer information, and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to develop a career in customer service.

Start Date - Monday 5th October

Training Programme

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive 4-week training programme at the client's training centre in Denby before moving to the Belper site.

Training Hours

• Monday to Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Thursday and Friday: 9:00am - 4:45pm

Full attendance throughout training is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling inbound customer enquiries by telephone
• Providing accurate information and support
• Resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently
• Updating customer records across multiple systems
• Delivering excellent customer service on every interaction
• Working towards team and service targets
• Escalating complex issues when required

Working Hours

Following training, you'll move onto a rotating 6-week rota pattern with shifts scheduled between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

The rota includes:

• 2 in every 6 Saturdays (8:00am - 3:00pm)
• 1 in every 6 Sundays (8:00am - 12:00pm)

Flexibility is essential.
