DBS Catering Assistant

Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced catering assistants to work with our clients around the Birmingham area.

Working in a school environment, your main duties will include:

• Basic food preparation - making sandwiches, preparing salads etc
• Washing up
• Serving students on the counter
• Setting up for service
• Cleaning down after service
• Putting away stick deliveries following stock rotation methods

Skills required:

• Food preparation - basic knife skills
• Knowledge of food and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen adhering to strict deadlines

Hours of work are typically Monday to Friday during term time

20-25 hours per week

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Applicants must hold an enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
