We are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants (DBS cleared) to join our agency team working across schools, academies, and educational settings throughout Southend and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work with the ability to choose shifts that fit around their lifestyle.

Duties Include:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Supporting kitchen teams during busy service periods
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous catering, kitchen, or hospitality experience is preferred
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate required
  • Must be dated within the last 12 months, or
  • Registered on the DBS Update Service
• Own transport is advantageous but not essential
