An established and respected private school in the heart of Oxford is seeking a dedicated Deputy Catering Manager to join its vibrant catering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for high‑quality food service, and experience working in a busy catering environment.

About the Role

As Deputy Catering Manager, you will support the Catering Manager in delivering an exceptional dining experience for students, staff, and visitors. You'll help oversee daily operations, maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene, and contribute to a positive, well‑organised team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day‑to‑day management of the catering department
• Support menu planning, stock control, and ordering
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Lead and motivate catering staff
• Contribute to the smooth running of service during term time and alternative weekends

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a catering supervisory or management role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive, hands‑on approach
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of service
