Front of House Event Staff (Food Service & Till Operations)

Location: Stoke on Trent

Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Contract: Temporary / Event-Based

Hours: Thursday-Sunday 11:00am-19:00pm

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to support a busy pop-up food event. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service.

As part of the front-of-house team, you will be responsible for serving customers, operating tills, processing payments, and ensuring visitors have a positive experience throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Taking food and drink orders.
• Operating tills and handling card/cash payments accurately.
• Serving food and beverages efficiently.
• Assisting with queue management during busy periods.
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of serving areas.
• Restocking items and supporting the wider event team as required.
• Adhering to food hygiene and health & safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, catering, or event work is desirable but not essential.
• Confident using tills and handling customer transactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a friendly approach.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy event environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
• Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
