Hospitality Manager/Nottingham/Tollerton/Fulltime
Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality manager to join the team on a Fulltime basis.

Duties and responsibilities:
- To lead, drive, develop and manage dynamic, passionate and hard-working teams to deliver a customer focused, five-star hospitality experience to all patients, consultants and colleagues at the hospital and to ensure the highest standard of food quality, environmental hygiene and high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital is maintained at all times.
- Ensure the portering team provide the highest standards of personal service to patients and staff and provide a highly efficient and courteous portering, distribution and support service hospital wide.
- The Hospitality Manager will play an active role within the hospital management team, attending key meetings, contributing to the delivery of the Hospital strategy within the non-clinical teams, controlling budget (including staff costs) and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
- To effectively manage and support the Hospitality team with direct line reports of the Head Chef, Housekeeping Team Leader, Hosting Team Leader and the Lead Porter, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times within agreed budgetary limits.
- To ensure the departments operate within set financial parameters and to be actively involved in departmental cost targets, regularly monitoring and working towards meeting agreed KPI standards.
- To comply with all health and safety at work regulations in line with corporate policies. Ensure that all legislative regulations regarding food hygiene, licensing, health and safety, COSHH, risk management and appropriate documents/records are fully complied with.
- To review, improve and maintain the standard of Hospitality for all service users.
- To ensure that all staff are adequately trained to provide the highest possible standards of Hospitality, ensuring Enabling Excellence objectives and Development Plans are carried out.
- To hold regular (at least monthly) 1:1's with direct reports.
- Review and change local processes to drive efficiencies.
- To maintain adequate control of all stock within Hospitality, including food supplies, cleaning products and linen.
Who we're looking for:
- Previous managerial experience
- Hospitality (or Hospital) background
- Experience of managing a budget
- Health and Safety Experience (IOSH trained)
- Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including listening and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrable ability to implement change and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with different disciplines of healthcare staff.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative without supervision.
- Ability to build relationships and strong people management skills to deliver a plan of activity through direct reports. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process issues at source and in a timely manner.
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability to tasks and duties.
- A problem-solving approach and a leader of change.
- A professional attitude with a concern for quality and customer service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
