This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests or residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Restock supplies and amenities in guest rooms and communal areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly attitude.
- Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Maintain an organised cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are attended to regularly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Experience in a hotel setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
