Housekeeper

Housekeeper | Spire Shawfair Park | Edinburgh | Full-time 37.5 hours | Competitive Salary plus excellent benefits

Spire Shawfair Park has an exciting opportunity for a housekeeper to join the team on a permanent basis. The role will consist of working 37.5 hours per week which would include working Earlies/ Mid shift and lates and also Weekend working please only apply if you can commit to this.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital
• Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean
• To work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital
• Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH.
• Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.

Who we're looking for:

• - Experience of working in a similar role, in a customer facing environment
• - Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at Work and COSHH
• - Good communication skills.
• - Ability to establish rapport with all customers
• - Able to work as part of a team
• - Ability to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
• - Maintains high standards
• - Ability to work evenings and possibly some weekends
