As an On‑Train Ticket Examiner, you'll be the friendly face of ScotRail - helping customers feel safe, welcome, and supported throughout their journey. No two days are the same, and full training is provided.


🚉 What You'll Be Doing

  • 🎟 Ticketing & Payments
  • Checking and issuing tickets and handling cash and card transactions.
  • 🤝 Customer Care & Support
  • Assisting passengers, managing busy services, and resolving travel queries calmly and professionally.
  • ♿ Accessibility Assistance
  • Supporting customers with additional needs, including the use of a portable ramp (up to 15kg). Full training and support provided.
